Our Projects

Food Security

The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) dedicates its efforts to volunteering at the local food bank every month, a cornerstone initiative crucial for addressing food insecurity within our community.

This commitment not only reflects our core values of leadership, compassion, and community engagement, but also serves as a platform for fostering essential skills such as teamwork, empathy, and organization. By consistently showing up and actively participating, we aim to make a tangible impact on improving access to food security for individuals and families in need.

God's Pantry Food Bank

God's Food Pantry is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to funding and supporting food banks in Kentucky while also providing Food Security Programs themselves. We highly recommend donating any leftover food you have to their banks, as it will be used fairly and efficiently.

Methodist Church

Methodist Church Offers an extremely generous program called "Mana Meal" that provides free food to anyone who asks every Saturday at their church. This program combats food insecurity in Jessamin County.

Community Awards

We are dedicated to recognizing exemplary performance and service within our community through awards and acknowledgments. Our goal is to shine a spotlight on individuals who go above and beyond, inspiring others through their dedication and compassion.

In particular, we are passionate about supporting young people in our community to earn recognition for their outstanding contributions as awesome individuals. Whether it's through academic achievements, community service, or acts of kindness, we believe in celebrating the positive impact that young people can make.

Presidential Volunteer Award

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding volunteer service and civic participation. This prestigious award is given to those who have contributed a significant amount of their time and effort to serve their communities and make a positive impact. Congressional Award

The Congressional Award is the United States Congress' award for young Americans who have demonstrated exemplary service, personal development, and physical fitness. It is a non-competitive program open to all 14- to 23-year-olds, regardless of background, ability, or socio-economic status. Fighting Against Cancer

Kentucky is one of the leading states in the fight against cancer. In support of colon cancer research, we joined fundraiser that was organizing a charity run. Participants from all walks of life unite to raise awareness and funds for critical research and patient support. Every stride taken symbolizes a step towards eradicating this disease. With community support, this event served as a beacon of hope, empowering individuals to make a tangible impact in the fight against colon cancer.

Together, they run with purpose, honoring survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and advocating for a future free from this illness. Our organization proudly fights against all types of cancer and supports brave survivors through the pain of this deadly illness.
